Goodbye San Francisco – Home Sweet Home

Sorry about my late blogpost for the today, but it was my last day in San Francisco and having the car at the airport VERY EARLY and taking off to Atlanta, then to Richmond – it’s been a busy day!

Following my last workshops, yesterday in Napa I had the pleasure of visiting the Muir Woods –  California’s National Redwood Forest, visiting the lovely Stinston Beach and the town of Sausalito, but sadly driving back over the Golden Gate Bridge – one last goodbye to a magnificent wonder of our modern world!

1) In 1897 John Muir stated “God has cared for these trees, saved them from the drought, disease and avalanches, and a thousand straining leveling tempests and floods; but he cannot save them from fools – only Uncle Same can do that.  The Muir Woods National Forest is a grand place to visit and witness the wonder of nature.  If you ever get a chance to visit – go there.

2) Stinson Beach and Sausalito were great places to visit – see the beach, the bay and to visit the most wonderful bridge – again – in the world – The Golden Gate Bridge.

Next travel plans are with the family on vacation and then I’ll be back on the blog for my trip to Japan and China!  That begins August 1 and will last for a little over 3 weeks.  Stay tuned!  Have a great and safe summer!
